New Delhi, June 16 ( IANS ) Two traumatised sisters discovered from in their residence here were repelled by their father's demise 10 years ago and a sequence snatching situation involving a of them 6 years ago, a next door neighbour mentioned Saturday.
"The women's movements and their communication with neighbours proposed shortening given their father's death. But, they entirely sealed themselves up inside the residence around six-seven years ago," Roopwati, a neighbour, told IANS.
Mamta, 40, and Neerja, 29, were discovered by a group of Centralised Accident and Trauma Services (CATS) and taken to Ambedkar hospital.
Their parent and bread winner, Rajender Gupta , died 10 years ago.
Roopwati mentioned in a snatching incident, a few people took divided Mamta's bullion sequence six-seven years ago.
"The situation combined anxiety in her thoughts and she sealed herself inside the house. Her younger sister mor! eover followed her," she said.
Rohini Sector 8 Resident Welfare Association boss P.P. Kaushik told IANS that he had never seen the women in the final 5 years.
"Their mother, Nirmala, would advance out of the residence infrequently to solicit me to contention her H2O and physical phenomenon bills. Whenever we asked her about her daughters, she mentioned that they did not wish to advance outside," updated Kaushik.
He mentioned that as their financial condition was bad. "Their kin helped them with a few allowance but that was insufficient," mentioned Kaushik.
"They were never seen outward for final six-seven years. We used to listen to them screaming inside their residence and could accumulate small from Mamta's 13-year-old son Shubham who came to fool around with children," mentioned other next door neighbour Archana.
It appeared they had not been fed for months together. Mamta had bone disfigurement and was cra! mped to her bed, mentioned a doctor.
Clad in scru! ffy salwar-kameez, both the women were shaggy-haired and had long nails when brought to hospital. The sisters suffered from "flexion deformity" caused due to limited physical movement, the doctor said.
