Navigate your shade to anything from Instagram to Tumblr and you'll see a familiar thesis emerge: cinema of immaculately manicured nails. Few, though, are cinema of the normal manicure. What you'll find instead are cinema of something more same to counterfeit nails – textured and printed nail-art finishes layered on a innate finger nail. Some have the lovable reason (Alexa Chung wore eye round spike art to Jason Wu's NYFW showing) whilst others have a subtler factor.
