Nail Art How To Blog | Rise In Popularity Of Luxury Sample Boxes

Looking at the process yes, it is huge exposure for cosmetics brands and with the huge number of beauty bloggers (that PR companies are 'using' already to review and promote their products) ready to take pictures, write about and share their thoughts about these products through ,multiple far reaching social media channels. It's a promotional exercise made in heaven with what will probably be to the established brands that take part in this process a nominal fee for such huge outreach amongst their target market. Its measurable, cost effective and because the provider of the service has segmented the market you can be sure you are targeting the right potential customers.

One of the first companies that have been causing a stir amongst the beauty community is Glossy Box as part of their service they send subscribers a box of luxury samples out every month for what initially was 10 per month with free delivery. That cost however did increase after the first c! ouple of boxes causing a certain amount of discourse amongst subscribers; Glossy Box began charging for delivery and this caused the monthly subscription to rise to just over 12. Which, some subscribers rightly say they were not prepared to pay and only signed up to the service on the premise that the fee was 10 (as I do not believe there was a prior warning that this was Glossy Box's intention with the subscription fee). Cue the Glossy Box marketing managers working over time to quell the increasing outrage of some subscribers and of course with the use of Twitter such opinions can spread like profusely in a matter of hours; leading to some hasty reputation management.

Not that this luxury sample service has been just negative, it has been mostly positive amongst subscribers and having looked at several blog reviews of the boxes the contents inside definitely look to be great value for money. The first box came with a full size Nars illuminator in the famous ! shade orgasm (a peach/ pink with flattering gold specks) which! full size when bought from Nars costs 21.50. Considering that the first box cost only 10 and came with another five products of equal or slightly lower luxury brand value then yes, the Glossy Box is fantastic value for money.

The boxes cover cosmetics spanning all beauty areas, hair products, skin care, nail polishes, body lotions, nail wraps and scents to name but a few.
