Design Nail | Hair-dressing & Make-up Facilitator

Description of REACH:

REACH provides vocational practice services for Vietnam's many disadvantaged youth. REACH matches our practice to the needs of the employers and the jobs that exist in the locations where you work. Since 2004 over 6,600 young people from exposed backgrounds have graduated from this vocational practice module and are right away successfully employed.

REACH offers 4-month rigorous vocational practice in:

Food Beverage
Sales Marketing
Web + Graphic Design
Nail Art
Housekeeping
Hair-dressing and Make-up

Job purpose:

To give practice on Hair-dressing and Make-up and encouragement REACH students with their work placement. Develop doctrine skeleton formed on REACH curriculum, find jobs for students, give follow-up support.

- Deliver technical practice on Hair-dressing Make-up
- Responsible is to quotations, purchasing and continuance of apparatus and consumables compulsory is to course
- Train REACH students on Life Skills and Work Readiness skills
- Responsible to hope for minute doctrine skeleton and weekly practice schedules from the REACH curriculum
- Create and sustain a business network in the Hair-dressing Make-up sector
- Arrange internship workplace / practice time for students
- Responsible for high high quality work placements (good salary, benefits, working hours) for any tyro / emanate work opportunities for students
- Support any impoverished former students to find employment post lot up to 6 months
- Support the Youth Affairs Officer with all Mobilization actions (recruiting new students, Selection Day, Home Visits)

Job requirements:

- At smallest 5 years experience in the Hair-dressing Make-up sector
- Experience in practice sector, preferably in vocational training
- Able to work effectively with students from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Good expertise of the labor market
- Communication and bargain skills
- Good P.C. skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint are required)
- English skills preferable
- Strong group spirit, dynamic, fervent and flexible
