Danielle Weissman has always been athletic. She has played a lot of sports and danced a lot of dance - modern, jazz, ballet. But with hooping she has found her calling.
"It was the initial thing that clicked with me," she said.
Yes, hooping. It, of course, goes over the hooping you did when you were 7 and then soon left your hoop in the garage to be run over by the family car. Weissman, a 22-year-old lifelong Baltimorean who lives in Hampden was introduced to the frenetic, enthralling and still rather subterraneous world of hoop dancing in late 2008 and has since achieved at area bars, clubs, parks and museums, and has taught a hooping class.
"The residents that surrounds hooping is unequivocally my stage and it's a form of exercise that unequivocally allows me to find my flow," mentioned Weissman. "And lets me fool around with fun blinky lights and fire."

Favorite place to hoop? Wyman Park. Really great mark with refrigerate people, refrigerate dogs and refrigerate beers.
Met any person engaging whilst hooping? we have met so many people by hooping. This summer, we hooped opposite the nation with my brother. We went on an Cross-country thoroughfare outing to Portland, Ore., and we can't discuss it you how many people approached me since my hooping. Hooping creates you a lot of friends, actual fast. It brings people together. When people see a hoop, they now wish to try it.
Trend that has exceeded its innate lifespan? Fake nails. Creepy.
Last film you liked/disliked? "The Silence of the Lambs,"a concrete favorite. Hated: "The Hangover." Really stupid. we could have created a funnier movie.
Last video that done you call with laughter? The stage in that uncover "Workaholics," where the guys are shrooming in the office and they try to takeover the IT guys with the "web of ethernet cables."
TV shows you can't obtain sufficient of? "Arrested Development," "Workaholics," "American Dad." Also "Dirty Jobs" with Mike Rowe (my a and usually superstar crush).
Last great dish you had? Last night. At home. Arugula and spinach salad with Gruyere, Tofurky, a baguette and a few major beer.
